What are dental implants

Dental implants are titanic replacements that are being imbedded into the jaw bone, simulating a natural function of a missing tooth root, or when one or more teeth are missing, in combination with other prosthetic solutions or when the jaw is completely toothless.

With development of the high technology, and therewith growth of the dental industry, implants have become a standard in reconstruction of tooth arches.

Because of their structure, they don't harm surrounding tissues nor does the body reject them. Just like a real tooth root, they recognize and adopt prosthetic solutions and that way they ensure a wide choice of restorations (compensation of one or more teeth; bearers of dental bridges or mobile prosthetics).

Installation of implants

Embedding of implants has to be done under local anesthesia and the method is completely painless.

Titanium bolt has to stay in the bone for three to six months because of the accretion.

In all cases, while our patients are waiting for the implant to accrete with the bone, at our practice we make provisional teeth for them.
